Central State Bank - Now
Since 1931, Central State Bank has gone on to purchase St. Olaf State Bank in 1958, now closed. Volga State Bank was purchased on April 12, 1966, now closed. Our Drive-Up facility was opened in 1989 and the First State Bank, with offices in McGregor and Marquette, was acquired in 1990. In October of 2010, Central State Bank merged with its sister bank, Corridor State Bank, located in Coralville. On December 31, 2012 CSB purchased Farmers Savings Bank in Walford, and on April 10, 2017 we opened our newest branch in Cedar Rapids. On July 22, 2018 CSB moved into a new state of the industry facility in Coralville to accomodate our growth. On January 1, 2019 CSB acquired Swisher Trust and Savings Bank in order to better serve our growing customer base in the Iowa City/Cedar Rapids Corridor. Central State Bank now has 7 locations serving Eastern Iowa all of them dedicated to providing the quality products and services CSB has become known for.
